model: @rafy.life Over time, photography has become something for me beyond “taking pictures.” Maybe one reason I love doing this as a hobby rather than a job is the freedom it offers: No pressure to satisfy a client, no pressure to meet someone else’s expectations. The only thing that really matters is creating something that feels honest — not only for myself, but also for the person in front of the camera. And that second part matters, because for me, a photoshoot is never just about the final image. It’s a shared experience. A conversation without words. And photographing someone you genuinely like as a person — someone whose company you enjoy — changes the approach and the experience. The atmosphere becomes lighter, more natural, more real. I think familiarity and trust eventually, and quietly, find their way into the pictures. Maybe that’s what I enjoy most about this kind of photography: not just creating images, but sharing moments that somehow remain inside them.
